    I have a front hub which has been helicoiled,one thread only and is now stripped.I dont particularly want to go down the helicoil path so any suggestions,was the same hub put on any other makes like fiats or alfas would be a lot cheaper to purchase I would think.

    It can be repaired by competent? machinist. Drill out, install shouldered sleeve, tack weld sleeve from back, drill and retap sleeve, done. almost as good as original.
