Have to remove the front steel trim just over the plastic bumper. As far as I can see on the drawings there are only two screws. The question is: How do I get to the screws? Do I have to dismount the headlights ? Maybe there is a simpler way? Regards, //B//
I see you have a 348. I don't know about the 348 but on a 355, along with the screws are a couple tack welds.
Which drawing are you using? This one shows there being 6 screws (No. 50 on the drawing - Part No.10977624 ), holding the nose panel (Part No. 62059500 ) in place: BODY - OUTER TRIMS - Ricambi America, Inc. And this previous thread also indicates that the panel is held on with 6 screws and not 2: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355-sponsored-bradan/124639-348-body-panel.html (There is also some confusion as to whether there might also be a couple of spot welds on it as well)
You have to take the bumper off. There are four behind that and two on the top near the bonnet hinges. You can see those but they are probably painted over black. The four behind the bumper are screwed into some captive nuts (No 51 on drawing)which can be a bit flimsy. 8mm socket if I remember. You can see two of the bolts on the pic.In front of the headlight.
