Is it just me or what, I grew up with being close to some of the prettiest grand prix cars ever IMO.

    These 2010s are FUGLY!!

Bring back John Barnard, he always produced good lookers and quick. Gordon Murray too.

Call me crazy but some (especially Ferrari, Mercedes, and Renault) look better than last year. Hell, I even think the new McLaren looks very cool/revolutionary. The wheel covers being gone alone is a huge difference...

As I've said in another thread, I can't wait to hear all the complaints from drivers this season about crosswinds effecting the cars with those massive engine covers.

That and the absolute carnage that is going to occur in first corner mishaps with these extremely long cars and snowplow-esque front wings.

    Yes they are ugly,
2009 cars looked like ridiculous cartoons, and now even more
they look more like a race boat than a race F1

    that was a beautyful car:

Uhm, we did have exactly these front wings last year... and the carnage that many expected didn't come...

Neither did the overtaking we were promised! (perhaps nobody could get round the front wings :D ).

(Gotta say, I do like that shade of blue on the Williams, mind you I am biased as it's similar to My cars colour :) ).

There were a few but not as many as had been predicted. (So much for the experts!).

It was always going to be one snow plough or another though!. ;)

(could have done with that on the front of My car a couple of weeks back, bloody weather!)

I think that you can blame that on the double diffusers that were supposed to have been illegal.

Totally agree. These cars are just horrible.

We need to barge into the next FIA World Council and hold someone hostage until an agreement is signed to let the cars have proper rear wings. Who's down?

Good thing Max isn't still there. He'd probably enjoy being held hostage. Especially if he could dress up in a prison uniform... :D

Why all the fuss now? F1 cars have been "Fugly" for many years already... narrow chasis, smaller rear wings, snow plough front wings, narrower and grooved (gone from now) tires, wheel covers, wingltes, etc.

With *many* thanks to Ricardo for posting, he's a picture that I don't think looks too bad - "Beautiful" - No, but not as bad as some we've seen over the past couple of seasons IMHO:

I wish they would go back to running gold wheels.
