Nice pics Frank! I'm really glad you got the interior since it's so modified and there aren't a lot of shots of it out there. I tried everything but there was too much glare off the windows when I tried. I like the red lever for downshift/green for upshift.

I was using my polarizer all day but that was a really tricky one. I was thinking about asking somebody to open it up, but I got sidetracked by the soft sculpture floating around. ;)

the fx looks so much better in the daylight than it does in the garage shots. one day, i'll get mine away from my wife and punish her with her lambo. in about 1-2 weeks i can take really detailed pictures of the interior to post,... but we all have to wait. :(

    Hi Steve,
Thanks for the great pics of the FX (and everyone that posted them) I work at the Marconi Museum, and I set up the car show last weekend that Mr. Marconi's cars were at. It really is an amazing car! That car is actually one of 6, and the red car that is in the post above is a different car, I believe. Mr. Marconi's car is #4 of 6. It has a small plate on the dash that says "Project FX #4 of 6". It is believed to be the only car with the Williams F1 gearbox. The other cars were delivered to the Sultan with the Porsche tiptronic system. Mr. Marconi has some copies of the video of the Williams team testing the car. They beat the $h!t out of it on the track!

    Best,
    Jeff

The first time I saw the FX was in Car & Driver's article "The Sultan's Stash". I thought it was a beautiful Ferrari that should have made production.

These pictures are the best I've seen. I have this sneaky suspicion it handles identical to the 512m. Just a hunch.

I'd like to clarify a common myth. It's actually not the Sultan of Brunei that has all these cars, but it's his brother Prince Jefri and his son, Prince Hakkem that bought most of these cars. The Sultan does own several luxury and exotic cars, but most of these cars are Prince Jefri's obssession.

I like the photo's of the Sultan/Prince Jeffri's cars. Anyone know of better quality photos? Any would do...would love to see the 4 F40's together in a better light.
