    I have noticed on all the FXX pictures that I have seen that they have treaded tries. So if it is solely a track car, why didnt they put on slicks OEM?

    The FXX uses special Bridgestone tires that were developed to be close to F1 tires that are semi-slick with 4 circumferential grooves. They were made like that for driving ease as well as predictability.
