Gearbox Leak

Hello all,

I wanted to share some pictures of Aa gearbox service. Story goes- after receiving my f12 from dealer, I drive the car for about 1k miles in 2 weeks and sent it for a full PPF which upon reciept they Noticed there was oil leaking. Had to transport it to service and 3 weeks later, I have a new middle gearbox. all within 6 weeks of Ferrari Ownership. People warned me about breakdowns etc. never believed them , but they are having a good laugh.

Also F-car service is not like MB, BMW or Porsche.- the 3 would get on their knees to get a 10/10 review and know service is a priority. A little disappointed with the experience to say the least.

See pictures for reference. It was the red seal that was an issue- in which they sent a whole new middle Unit!

The car has been amazing and plan to put a full laser and radar soon and many many miles.

Nice. I just saw a video of a shop replacing this seal.
Looks very fun to pull it and put it back. It requires special tools as well as thermal expansion controls to fit the parts in.
Hopefully I don't need to deal with this issue ever. Knock on wood.
