Gone! My 328 sold today. Kind of a weird feeling, but no seller's remorse. After talking to the guy over the phone a few times he came to see the car today. We talked for a while as he looked over the car--he knew what he was looking for--and when we got to the issue of price he just said OK and wrote me a cheque. The car stays until next week, after the money clears, and off she'll go! I've got one more goodbye ride planned, and then I turn in my spurs.

    Rhetorical question?

Actually, a few reasons. I was driving it less, we just had a baby, we're starting a business. It will serve someone else much better.

Sorry to hear about the sale our your 328.Even though you might not have any feelings of sellers remorse and the seperation anxiety that you will soon feel thank goodness for the counceling that is avalible . Just contact fellow chat member Augustine Staino. No one has more experience in the selling of a 328 and dealing with that 'OH NO WHAT DID I DO? I should have never sold that car. Augustine is a great guy and I'm sure he can help get you through the next couple of weeks. By the way, did he buy your car?

you did great - you are hero to your wife - she will never doubt your dedication to what is important. She will support you in the future when it really counts and you decide maybe you can afford the 550 or ?

    Good Job!!!

LOL! As far as I know, it wasn't him!

And with all the support my wife has given me throughout all of this, the least I could do is what's best for the family. Even she said that we'll be back in the market sooner rather than later. Hell of a girl!

Probably too soon to say there. I'll have the car until next week, so I don't have that empty garage spot to look at yet. Or the box of lonely Griot's polishing diaper cloths. The transition will be easier for me since I haven't had as much time to drive it as I would have liked. I'll be a little sad, but I've got things in the works that will hopefully bring me back to the Ferrari market in due time.

    Jack,

Those pictures of your baby son in the drivers seat of the 328 are just heartwarming... I hope I'm lucky enough to plop my own little kid in the seat of the Fcar one day... (I guess I need to have a kid, first. Hmmm. And maybe a wife.)

great pics, great lookin' kid, there is growing interest in 328's for buyer's Tom S. in FORZA really had good thinks to say about it for appreciation in the future, so if you got your asking price that is good. Looks like the 328 is the one 3x8 series that is the hot one ( for now).

I've actually begun to feel the same way. I think in the next year or so, you will regularly see them sell in the 50s. Under different circumstances I most definitely would have held on to the car. But I'm glad someone else will be able to enjoy it. And hopefully I'll be able to replace it some day before the kid is old enough to realize where those pictures were taken:)

Nice looking boy! We all have our priorities, so I totally understand selling the car. Looks like somebody got a great buy.

I like the picture of your son with the big smile. Looks like he's taking a poop in the driver's seat. Just don't show that one to the buyer. ;-)

Congrats and condolences on the sale at the same time. But you had the car, you enjoyed the car, and now it's time to move on to other things. My son is now 27 and my daughter 21. Way past the poop in the diapers stage (they poop on me in other ways now). So I'm able to enjoy the cars, play with them and do all the things that I put aside when they were your son's age.

Enjoy and have no remorse. The cars will be there in a few years when you're ready to get back to them. Your kids and your wife are only young once. You, on the other hand, can eventually have a second childhood.
