I've been thinking about this for ages. I have the chance to get a spare set of rims that need refurbishing so it's a great opportunity to paint them gold and try out a set of Pilot Super Sport rubber. I bet that this splits opinions.

a bit too bright for me. Have you considered the gold color used on the countach wheels?

Is that a real car because it looks like a kid's 12 volt ride?

I really like gold wheels on the right car. Something about the colors in the pic look off a bit though. Do you have a different pic or angle? There is a Countach is the sales section that is black with gold and is incredible. Maybe it has to do with how much metal makes up the rim?

I do like the gold, but, it does bring back old memories and dates the car. Throw back to Burt Reynolds cannonball run Pontiac Firebird.

    Suggest silver?

I've seen a few gold on black that were decent here on f-chat, but definitely NOT that shade.

I agree on the shade it was a quick photoshop effort, I guess choosing a paint from samples when stood in the wheel refurb shop is going to be risky!

I like the concept of gold wheels, especially on a Nero car. Classic look from Ferrari racing.

That's a nice look. The red calipers in the example looks better with the gold, more so than the yellow, I think

That ones nice...the others seem like something a rapper or rapper wannabe would drive.
