A question for all the GranSport experts and afficionados...

What are tasteful modifications that can be done to GranSports? What can be done to perhaps personalize / tune / enhance without devaluing what is already an amazing car?

I've heard Tubi exhaust systems are highly regarded (but some seem to think their sound is similar to stock in Sport mode). so would the $3K be worth it?

I've heard you can lower the ride height by 10mm to Euro Spec.

What about chips? Having never done any chip tuning before, is there the risk of cooking either the engine or tranny / clutch?

    Thanks,

    DGL

I think I remember hearing that the Gransport exhaust *IS* a tubi. I'd leave it like it is, great car by the way.

The stock exhaust is a Tubi, and in sport mode sounds very similar to an aftermarket tubi on a coupe. I wouldn't touch the exhaust.
With the car in sport mode the ride is very firm, I would think lowering it 1cm would only detract from the ride.
I can't think of a tasteful bodykit, so I'd leave that alone too.
I believe "MVPEurosports" (I think) on this board as well as ************ does chips. Do a search on chips ad you may find his posts about the product they offer....this is about they only thing I'd consider doing.
The car is amazing to drive, and doesn't need much in the way of modification IMO.

Have a look at the attached *TIF file (its an article from Modified Luxury & Exotics). A friend just sent it to me. So has he gone too far, or is this still "tasteful"?
