    Anyone know if the Grose Jet is being made by anyone for Weber Carbs. At one time it was designed & used to replace the sometimes troubling OEM Needle & Seat for some of the various Webers.

    Wow These things bring back memories. They were made for all sorts of carbs by a shop someplace in the New England area. They were best used on SU carbs and Stromburg carbs. The float movement on the Weber is alot more controlled and float sticking is not really a problem. Have you replaced the needle/seat with factory parts and you still have problems? (Forgive me if I am asking an obvious stupid question.)

    The Grose Jets, were fine in the SUs, as long as you did not want high fuel flow. The stock type needle and seat arrangements, were able to flow much more. I guess this was not the case with the Weber Grose Jets

    I replaced the Weber needle and seat on my 44 DCNFs with the Grose Jets. They are currently available for the Weber DCNF carbs AFAIK. BTW, blowing air through the stock needle and seat vs the Grose Jet is like blowing air through one of those thin red extensions you get with a can of WD40 and a large straw you would use for a thick milk shake.

    Bottom line, the Grose Jets are wonderful.
