It'd be cheaper to wear a Porsche golf shirt, Porsche sunglasses, Porsche jacket, Porsche hat, Porsche pants, Porsche driving gloves, and Porsche sneakers.......and you'd get laughed at just as much.

Looks cool to me...I don't consider a ground up creation a replica in a sense that its dimensions can be taylored to match the original car (sometimes, improved upon). I wouldn't rather have this than an original GT1, but considering the odds of picking a street version of the original up are pretty much zero for mere mortals, I think this is a fine substitute.

So what do you guys think its worth. RCR and other kits sell for about 40-65k as a roller.

I think that thing is pretty cool.

There is one for sale in Germany now on anamera, price wasn't listed. The originals are no doubt some of the coolest cars ever made.

It says it has a 5.7L bulletproof V8.

Chevy? If it is a crate motor, then I've lost interest.

Too bad they fell short on the most important part of the car.

I like it. Porsche specials, clones and repros aren't as frowned upon as with Ferraris.

You could say that no Porsches were killed to make this car and nobody would care one way or the other.

Should have used the proper power though.

There won't be another one drive up while you're there. The down side is, if one does, you may feel like leaving.
