    hopefully it comes to the US if GT3 rules are adopted in 2014 for the new GA/ALMS series

    Would love to see it, but really? Even having lost a ton of weight, literally, can this blob be competitive? Power to weight. Handling and braking. Aero. All have significant effects, even in the GT classes.

    it is not pretty by any means but i suspect it is pretty slippery thus vmax should be strong.

    Kind of cool and I hope they do it. Don't like the street version but they are getting pretty common considering the looks and price.

    I suppose, to some extent, Bentley (still owned by Audi, right?) is somewhat of an odd-duck for racing. It has a storied racing background but abandoned it for a long stretch. Not to mention, it's generally gone in the opposite of the rest of the pack (lighter, more nimble trackworthy cars v. overweight, luxury boats). Audi already has a GT-programme with the R8s. It also has the LMP programme, which is super successful. Why, other than brand identity and a technical challenge, does Bentley want to be in GT-racing? Further, Audi's overall racing budget has to be factored in, so what's in it for Audi? Is Bentley's programme accretive? If you go back to the LMPs, Bent's Speed X programme was a derivative of, and heavily reliant upon, Audi's R8. Nothing wrong with that, but this GT will have nothing to do with Audi's R8GT, so probably less of a shared benefit. These are entirely different platforms and will have entirely different development curves.

    But, sure, why not. It looks the biz, even if it is a porker.
