    Production will start next summer as a 2008 model. 285 being built.

    I am going to order mine black/orange w/black wheels and orange calipers. I can't wait....best car of the year IMO.

    About the building as many as they can sell isn't that the truth. I remember when the 2003 SL55 first came out, my father and I were at MB dealership and the salesman swore to him they were only going to make 493 of them. Good thing he didn't buy that car because I'm pretty sure the production run was somewhere around 493,000 haha, there are about 493 in houston alone
