All of these cars must have been on the same boat. SN 177202 Just arrived at dealer Tuesday night. While at Ferrari driving school I really admired Argento Nurburgring HGTE. Then saw a Lusso (Silver on Red) that I really liked and then I saw fellow Fchatter, "Fonzie's" GTO and thought we needed at least one of these in America. Andrea, thank you for the inspiration, I took a few cell phone pics today, delivery this weekend. Privacy rear window, had grill painted black at factory, few other small extras, plus luggage.

Wow Chad that looks great, did you keep the 599 HGTE? Use it in good health.

Still have HGTE, dealer asked me if I want to trade it, I'm inclined to keep it.

Further proof that bicolor is not the way to go on this car.

Great spec! Love that you kept your HGTE too!

Woow Chad. First of all, congratulations with your GTO. She looks stunning. Just like her "sister" over in Italy.

Second of all ... you are the lucky owner of a 288 GTO AND a 599 GTO (and obviously the rest of your impressive collection). When is the 250 GTO coming?

We are proud to have a member @ Scuderia GTO owning two out the 3 GTO models. That is so exciting.

Thanks for the S/N. I'll make sure to add it to the list when I get back from my business trip.

Many happy and exciting miles with i. Look forward to reading about your driving impressions.

    Best,

    M

Hawkeye- Beautiful car and I love the leather interior. The amount of red is perfect and the steering wheel looks better all black, I think. Monocolor and stripe is really nice, and I prefer that to the dark roofs.

I know you will be happy with this one. You are getting to be an all color kind of guy. Cannot wait to see a line-up with the new car, and the new old cars.

Seems like all V12 lovers who had the means and the access to get one have got one! I wonder where all the GTO naysayers are now.

Chad you really know how to keep a secret! Previously you were not sold on the modern GTO idea.
Will it get the "Todd" treatment?

You really managed to keep the cards close to your vest! Congrat's on your beautifully spec'd GTO..... Your second purchase from a very short list. Its really an exceptional Ferrari and i look forward to hearing your driving impressions and comparisons to the 288 GTO. Enjoy in good health and welcome to Scuderia GTO for the second time!

I was in the factory twice in November and December and I think I exactly saw Your GTO in the final production assembly (I guess there are not to many GTO's with exactly that configuration).
My God, what a great looking car. I was so impressed that I changed the order of my GTO.
    Enjoy it in great health.

Practically, I'd say they were nose to bum on the final production line...

Beautiful example Chad! Congrats. I know you're going to enjoy this even more than you've imagined.

And, to have a 288, too, well I'm also excited/pleased to have a Scuderia GTO member with 2 of the 3 in their stable...certainly a plan I'm hoping to copy one day...

Drive it hard, safely and with respect--and hopefully we'll get to visit at an event somewhere soon.

Thank you, Andrea, for the kind words. If we have a GTO reunion at SPA or another track, please let me know as I may ship the car to Europe and enjoy a nice drive.

You are correct. I went back and forth on this car and communicated with our European friends, whom had already received their cars for some additional information and guidance. I took the right decision on this one. Yes, Todd will see it, but paint looks much better than previous cars.

Very possible, it was a November build car and would have been on the second floor when you were there. That is really great you got to see them. Didn't snap any pictures did you? ;) When I saw the silver/red Lusso I was really amazed and then the silver HGTE at Ferrari driving school was really amazing. And then Andrea posted the Silver GTO thread and I went to it immediately and that did it for me. But don't get me wrong, I like them all, haven't see a poorly spec'd car yet.

To be certain about that, the two of you should compare the assembly numbers of your GTOs (in the engine compartment) and not your s/ns. The s/n sequence is often very different from the assembly sequence.

    Ciao,

    Lars T.
