GTS question

Was the GTS top, ALWAYS factory black? Or was paint matched to the car an option.

How many people opt to paint theirs?

 

I believe after a certain model year they came painted? 97 or 98?

 

Painted tops where an option (mine is listed on the window sticker - 98 MY). I don't know if all years had this option.

 

Carbon fiber was an option as well.

 

My 1998 has it as a factory option too. I do not think there were many with factory painted tops. I think many earlier years had black tops.

 

My '98 came factory painted.

 

My 1996 came with factory painted red top option as well. -- J.R.

 

My 1998 built in 97 has a painted top.
