What do you think about Gurkha Marqueza cigars? Has anyone tried it?
The store I freqent has several Gurkha's, although I have tried only one, (the Warlord) and moderately liked it, I will have to see if this one is on the shelf? How might you describe its taste?
Here you go: http://www.thompsoncigar.com/default.aspx?uid=2293&page=product&sender=email&cm_mmc=Email-_-20080425-topthreesamp-28940_-body-_topthreespecial This is an awesome deal. I'm buying it.
Try this sampler: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=SP-GHASST11&cat=106&page= . All are great smokes. Gurkha Regent is one of my favorite cigars. I haven't tried Gurkha Marqueza yet. Gonna have to pick up a few. Any one tried Gurkha - His Majestys Reserve (HMR)? http://www.cigar.com/cigars/viewcigar.asp?brand=456
HOLY S*** 750 a stick :0 I just read on another site that there working on a more expensive one, come on no way that thing is worth that much.
i'd rather have 3 pre-embargos instead of that gurkha thing. and the HMR is only infused in Louis? for $750 a stick? I assume the "new" top dog gurkha will be infused with Hardy Perfection, and will probably run $1000+ retarded.
I tried a Warlord that I didn't care for. There is one that I think is called a G3, I've heard good things about it. The owner of my local shop showed me one in a gurka catalog that is 4 or 5 thousand a box at his cost. I don't think there is anything they can put in it that would justify that cost and be legal.
I've tried an assortment of Gurkhas and found the Class Regent the only one I'd bother smoking again.
I was talking to the rep yesterday and I was wrong: http://www.luxist.com/2007/03/12/gurkha-black-dragon-cigars/ BTW the cigar was nice but a premium price.
I am not impressed with the cigar. I ordered some and found it rather rough. Maybe it was a bad batch. I will give it the benifit of the doubt and smoke a couple more before I throw it out.
