I will be heading back tomorrow with my family and a friend. We have bought generators and supplies for our families. Since we could not carry the supplies we purchased we rented a 16 foot Penske truck. The hotel put out a call to the local churches here in San Marcos that we were bringing a mostly empty truck back and we have been overwhelmed with donations for the relief So we will be looking for a local in St. Tammany to distribute all of these goods. I did find out from a friend that drove by my house that it escaped damage my friends that I am traveling with were not so fortunate they have a exposed attic right now so we will be trying to close that up this weekend. Hope to hear from you all soon. Take care.

We got electricity back last Wednesday. My house is fine other than a fence and my garage door opener is fried. I don't know about my mother's house on Leon C. Simon though I did hear that UNO was high and dry so maybe ......
