Ron, for those of us not from Stocton do you have an address for the Brookside Cafe?

Hey Dan - those of us on the peninsula should meet up at a large-ish parking lot, like the one off Hillsdale/HWY 92, and caravan to Pleasanton. What do you think?

Hi Ron and everybody, this is Si Nguyen, Henry's brother-in-law in Orange County. Great idea for this Ferrari drive in memory of Henry. I will drive up for sure, along with some of his friends from down here, with David Pham too. We might only be able to drive 2 cars up there though. We don't have enough drivers yet. I wanted to drive my own 308GTB too (James Dawson wanted see it), but I think I have to drive Henry's 512M now, hey I am not complaining! BTW, don't guys have something planned for the Saturday nite before the Sunday drive? If not, maybe we can go to Henry's favorite strip joint, for a quick drink , just for old time sake, or just Starbuck. What else is there to do in Stockton anyway?
BTW, our family really appreciated all of you guys from Northern California ( and Henry's friends from Southern California like Armen and David Ralston) for coming to his funeral last year. Stephanie had a 1 year memorial service for Henry this month too, but we couldn't invite you guys. It was too far for you. So we are very happy that you guys are doing this drive for Henry next month. Thanks alot. Can't wait to see the Stockton posse again. It's been too long! Si

If I'm not in DC on business, I'd like to join you all. I only met Henry few times but he was always very kind to me and everyone else.

I would like to attend, but I may not be able to. NO RIDE! Unless I could get Black_Horse to show up with his 308. Henry has been missed by me for certain. Still have his # in my cell. I was able to join the Stockton group on a drive in Sept. '04 and rode up to Sac with Gabe in the 512M. Henry let me drive his F355 Spider back to Stockton. Absolutely something I will always Remember. Maybe I could Blow Up the photos I took of Henry posing for me in front of the 3 cars that day. ???

I will be alone so I will be happy to take a passenger in the TR, if I take the Lambo I will be able to take three. I will be leaving Alamo early enough to get to Stockton for the start up there and coming back to CoCo County for whatever is planned here.

 

sure wish we could make it ...but very sorry that we are going to be out of the area on a buying trip for our store, we are missing henry... he is the person who got us going on this farreri club thing and meeting all the great people, and going on the great ride's .we send our pryers, with you all on this special day!!! fast fred & sweet sue

Hi guys
Thanks for organizing Henry's memorial drive. I am David Pham one of Henry's old car buddy from Irvine Southern Cal (next to Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, the new sport car capital of the world). As the date is near, I like to post a few photos of Henry and friends. Hopefully these photos will help to create a good turn out for this event. Si Nguyen, Henry's brother in law, also a car nut himself, will accompany with me on this trip. We were thinking of trucking up Henry's ferraris on the trailer but we decided to drive them up instead since Henry always want to drive his F cars long distance. We are short of drivers as mentioned earlier by Si N, so only two F cars will be driven up. Again thanks Ron for organizing the event, and thanks everyone to participate in Henry's memorial drive.

I'll try to make it. How about a small FChat apreciation plaque to present to the family that the N.Cal'ers could sign? I never met Henry, but spoke with him several times on the phone. Damn nice guy!

I was fortunated to spend the whole weekend with Henry in Carmel Valley Monterey August 2004. It's hard to believe it's just over a short year ago. Once I knew he was sick in Oct 04, my plan was going to take Henry it to Cavallino in West Palm Beach in Jan 05, Indy F1 in Jun 06. Unfortunately, the disease got the upper hand in three short months...
