Guys I'm going to be attending an event at the Miami / Homestead track.

I'm looking for a good solution for lodging one night. I want to stay close because I'm not an early riser. The event will be on a Thursday and I think staying in Miami would be too risky with traffic in the AM. Any suggestions?

I'll probably move over to the Delano or Ritz Carlton for the weekend.

There are some big chains in Florida City. Hampton Inn and Holiday inn Express. They are minutes from the track.

That's what I've heard. I haven't stayed at either. Can you recommend one over the other? I understand the Holiday Inn Express is new, but is it "new" in an old building or is it a new building too?

    Thanks man

    Mike thanks.....

I've got to be at the event at 7:30am and I'm not usually up at that hour. If I don't get close to the track I've got to add at least 30 min (prob. more) drive time. I want to be awake when I get on the track.

I think they should have these events start around 10:30 (ish)...lol
