Anyone know where I can get a hood strut. Didn't find any in the x-ref thread.

If you would like to get your original struts rebuilt (it's done all the time), check out www.lstechnologies.ca

    Good luck,
    Hank

I find the best solution is to always disconnect your hood strut regardless of whether it works or not. The only time you really need to get into the hood is when you need to access your spare or reservoir which is seldom. Otherwise it's an accident waiting to happen with regards to a bent hood.

SACHS Part # SG237001 is the rear engine lid struts (about $52)
For the front you can use the part number for the 328 and get the gas strut, and not worry about someone forgetting to push in the detent ball and bend your hood SACHS Part # SG437002 ($42)
