    Did anyone else pick up a hero this weekend? What do you think about it? I got mine today and I must say that I am impressed. This is my first touchscreen phone and I'm still getting used to it. This phone has a ton of features and the user Interface is slick. I'm just worried about the battery life.

    I got one this past Friday on the Best Buy presale, and have been playing with it all weekend. Definitely a slick phone, and I'm loving it. The future has arrived, and it is Android. Things will only get better.

    I'm looking forward to the new Moto Shules/Tao/Droid (to be named one of those ;)) that's due out within weeks.

    It suppose to be the first phone with Android II.

    What is Android II? The only thing I'm aware of is either Android (Cupcake) 1.5, and the recently released Donut 1.6. I would think 2.0 would be some time off.

    From what I've read (HowardForums) it will actually be available to "everyone" sometime next year. I believe sometime in the first quarter of '10.

    Android 2 is just suppose to be the most recent Google OS. Also running something called Eclair. I'm still not entirely sure what all this lingo is, just relaying what I've read. Supposedly that is where the tie between VZW, Google, and Moto all come together. This phone has been very tight-lipped and while some things are "known", it's still very secretive.

    I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to phone OS', I've just been keeping up with this new Moto phone for the last 4 or 5 months.

    Our daughter got one last week and really likes it. I still like my iPhone best of anything, but due to our location we have to have two cell carriers so just upgraded on Verizon with the HTC Imagio, should have it tomorrow.
