I just purchased my first Ferrari and was wondering if anyone knows of any good mechanics for a 458 in Indiana as otherwise I will have to have it shipped to the dealer in Chicago.

I too am looking for an F-car mechanic in Indiana. Specifically south central Indiana or Indianapolis area. I am located in Bloomington, IN. I had Brian Stewart do my last belt change in my '79 308 but he has since retired. I tried posting this question in the regional area chats but no one replied. So I am checking here to see if anyone knows a good mechanic in the southern or central Indiana area?
    Thx

Back in 1969 when I was returning from WY, I had problems with my Ferrari. It was running poorly and was way down on power. This was before the Interstate so I was on local Indiana roads. I spotted a small sign for "Auto Service" and detoured there. The shop was only a garage behind a residence but it was Sunday so my choices were slim. I parked in the driveway and explained my problem to a young man who lived there. He drove it into his shop and started looking for the problem- very systematically. I was impressed. It turned out that he was a student at nearby Vincennes College.

After a couple of hour's work, he had it running fine, One of the dual points in one distributor has slipped and I had been running on only 6 cylinders! I asked him how much I owed him for his work and he replied "Nothing- we don't see many cars like this around here.". I wish I could remember his name. :)

I’m pretty sure Mid West auto sports could do a belt change on a Ferrari 308.
They work on a lot of exotic cars there.
They have done work on my BMWs, the yearly on my 458, did the belt service and water pump on my Alfa 4c.
I’ve seen quite a few Ferraris, Lambos and McLarens in there.
They are located up in Carmel.
    Not south central but central
