Does anyone have a good insurance agent / broker in Texas or the Austin area they can recommend, especially one that is performance car / track day friendly?

Ideally I'd be looking for one that could also ensure home and other insurance needs as well.

    Thanks guys,
    Marc

We use David Schara (State Farm) in Cedar Park for our home, cars, boats and an umbrella policy. I just had him insure my 2013 458 Italia this past June. I mentioned the possibility of Track Days and he said no problem. We've had some claims on the house and hail damage on the daily drivers and his office was very helpful getting it all resolved. Anyway, someone you might want to take a look at.
    Regards

I've used State Farm then Liberty Mutual and now Allstate. I switch every few years because they typically tend to raise rates on you - it only takes about 3/4 hours to do so it's worth the savings. The issue you will run into is that some of the popular insurance companies do not insurance high end cars. As for the track days I'd recommend going over your policy regardless of what your rep says. Every one I have had didn't cover tracks, but you can purchase daily track insurance if your that caution - just don't be stupid on the track and you'll be fine. I've done a few DE's and never purchased insurance.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll definitely need someone that can cover a "high-end" car so if any has a specialist recommendation that would be great.
