What insurance company do you guys use? I have 2 points on my MD license. I do not qualify for USAA because I am not military; I do not qualify for Hagerty because of the points. My business insurance want $5k per year.

Nationwide on my 430, Hagerty on my 550.

Any hope of hiring an attorney to get the 2 points off of the license? Perhaps traffic school?

Pics? Ummmmmmm well I don't have any right now. There are some floating around somewhere. I might have them on another computer. "Kimi" or Luke as you know him may have some. The car is having some work done to make it custom to "Juice". Powder coat calipers and install Brembo brakes all around, powerder coat, and chrome the lip on 3 pc. HRE wheels, update the Capritso, front bumper guards, challenge ECU's, carbon fiber a lot of things, and a whole bunch of other stuff that Ferrari guys probably don't want to hear!!! Sorry guys i don't like anything stock.

No, afraid I'm not that smart. :)
I was just thinking there might be some sort of legal strategies for getting the 2 points off your record sooner than they normally would come off.

Luke, The car is still in LA getting a bunch of work done to it before it gets delivered. It should be another 3-5 days of work and 7-10 to get here through a transport company I broker with. Realistically, 3 weeks or less.

I have State Farm, but I have a few cars with them, plus one of my houses, that drops the rate by 10%. I paid about $1800 for my 430.

I have Allstate. They weren't too happy about the claim for the Diablo but they covered it 100%. And they didn't drop me or raise my rates.

Juice, I have State Farm and they are very reasonable. I use agreed value for the old cars.

I have travellers. Off the top of my head I think they charge me ~1300/yr for the 348 living in DC which has much higher rates than the 'burbs do. I also have one moving violation on my record (turned on a no left turn) which I think is a few points. I do have 2 other cars and my house with them and get the whole multi policy discount thing.

Be careful with State Farm if you are going to do track days. They have an exclusion which theoretically would not cover you if you did so much as a parade lap at a race track

State Farm for my 348SS with agreed value. Can't say enough good things about State Farm.
