Installing on my iPhone 4 now.

Got a 5S coming my way soon, but am curious how the 4 will handle it.

I've been trying since 3:30pm, when it was done it crashed with a error message & thought I'd have to start over. Turns out the server is massively overloaded. I'm SOL without a phone until this problem gets resolved. I should have waited a couple of days until just in case something like this would happen.

iOS 7 Error: ?Software Update Unavailable?

I have a Commodore 64K as my DC ( daily computer) and even I know you NEVER download any of the new Apple IOs for at least 1 month after introduction.

It is fantastic on an iPad, especially Safari. You can now swipe pages forward and back; makes browsing so much better. It is just beautiful. Updated alarms/alert tones are lovely. I'm very happy. Can't wait to pick up a 5S and use the fingerprint sensor.

got it downloaded on my phone but multiple attempts on the ipad haven't worked.

I like it on the phone, but don't love it. itunes radio has some promise. Pandora is screwed.

Agree, Pandora is screwed. I haven't installed on my phone yet, still enjoying my jailbreak/hotspot/facetime over LTE iOS 6.

As far as I knew, you had to choose unlimited data or a hotspot with AT&T.

Hotspots been an option on my AT&T five all along.

Downloaded 7 last night on both iPad and phone without issues. But I'm seven hours off EST and the local server may not have the same traffic.

On the phone I have to use the lock now. Its four digits so I can't use the iPad PW. Another code to forget. BTW I had to sign into all my P word protected accounts after the down load.

7 seems to load pages faster.

well, finally got 2 iphones and an ipad updated.

3 devices. probably took 50 or more attempts to update them. so, 94% of the time Apple's update process failed.

not sure if I'm more annoyed at Apple for that statistic, or myself for making so many attempts.

I'm curious. Did you update through the phone or tethered to a computer?

Downloaded to my phone. Took 30 mins and I'm not crazy about it. I guess like everything else I will get used to it, but right now I don't like it.

    through the phone.

I thought the point of iCloud was to not have to tether.

I love how computer/phone/software companies use paying customers as their beta-testing staff.

No intentions to update my phone or iPad until Apple makes it mandatory. I'm
perfectly fine with 6 - and since I'm a Pandora Premium member, and use it daily,
no way in hell I'm updating until whatever is wrong gets fixed.

    Apple = Microsoft

Not much difference - just the logos

    :)

I do all of my updates through the computer. The iCloud isn't big enough for my data and I'm not paying for it when I can easily do a back up on the MacBook. There's nothing wrong with the way you did it, I was just curious.

iOS7 is beginning to grow on me. I love the way it flows from one screen to the other and the new sounds are... something.

honestly I question the wisdom of using the cloud a lot. given the chance to do that one over, not sure I would have made the same decision. although it is nice to have multiple devices sync without having to tether and update through a computer each time.

I like ios7, but it looks a little too "microsofty", or at least too much like some of the Android or windows phone devices I've played with.

You know it may take a while when they suggest plugging the phone into power before downloading.

Downloaded it. No issues at all.

I think the OS is a huge improvement.

Same for me. I also downloaded it right as it became available, so perhaps I beat the server rush...

Downloaded last night. Works fine as expected. Really think the design could be improved. Somewhat surprised how clunky it looks. And yes, I know all about the flat design trend, which I generally like.

I agree, it does look and feel like a Microsoft product.

Anyone install it on an iPad 2, yet?
