    cant play youtube anymore. shuts down spontaneously. is this a ram issue? repairable? upgrades?

    I face this problem intermittently. It must be one of the recent updates that is responsible.

    Close out the app = double click the home button and scroll till you see the youtube screen and swipe upwards to remove it from memory.

    Otherwise try the delete and re-install trick
