    Our friend and Ferrari enthusiast Jason Glatt and his father were involved in a very serious
    road accident near Florence, South Carolina on Sunday.

    Jason’s father, Harold, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jason was transported
    to the hospital in Florence where we have learned he is now out of ICU.

    As we understand, Jason was moving to Connecticut to take a position with a Ferrari
    collector when the incident occurred.

    Jason worked for Ferrari of Central Florida for a time and is a regular at motoring events
    around Florida and the country. He is always in attendance at events like Cavallino, various
    races, club, track events and was our guest at the 2015 Miami Beach Concours.

    Always such a nice kid and he’s going to pull through but this will be devastating for his family.

    Please be sure to pass the word around as well.

    Latest update is that Jason is out of ICU and will be out of hospital in a few
    days.

    I've just received an update report on Jason's current condition...

    "He is better. Broke his face mostly. Eyes swollen shut. But in a regular room and
    I've seen pics of him out of bed (in a chair). So he has made that important step.
    He needs to be a bit still".

    F-Chat and FCA members in the South Carolina area have kindly offered to visit Jason and
    we're getting that together now.

    Just saw this post here. Glad to hear he is out of ICU and starting his recovery. So sorry to hear about his father.

    Doing much better. Up and about and anxious to get out of the hospital. Probably keep
    him another couple of days though.

    Much better. Should get out of hospital today.

    He posted on Facebook so he's doing better. No memory of anything leading up to the accident until he woke up in the hospital.
