I've been a long-time lurker and posted a few times. Since I've really enjoyed reading many of the restoration threads, it seemed a good idea to spend the nominal sum to support the forums.

I'm business owner in Southern California and things are finally starting to click a bit and it's allowed me realistically believe in future Ferrari ownership. While it seems a bit unpopular, I'm in love with the 308/GT4s. I look forward to having a small collection of interesting cars at some point. So far in my life I've never sold any of the cars I've bought. Right now that leaves me with an '03 Subaru WRX (owned since new) and an '86 Porsche 944 I've had for almost 13 years.

Professionally and personally, none of my good friends have ever owned Ferraris. Consequently, my perception of what Ferrari owners are "like" has been a bit skewed until delving more deeply in the forums. One thing I find interesting, and if some of you are on the sidelines considering subcribing -- just do it, is how many issues / concerns / and contemplations I share with the folks posting in the subscribed forums.

Welcome. Hmmmm. That's one post per year. Kudos to you for joining. Some people have thousands of posts and still won't pony up the $25 to join. Hopefully, you'll be acquiring that Ferrari soon, it's a great time to buy one.

    Cheers,

    Eric

    Welcome Scooby.

I think history will be kind to the GT4. I like them better everytime I see them.

Thanks, everybody, for making me feel welcome. I might head up to Westwood one of these Wednesday.

I think if the GT4 shape had been on any car other than a Ferrari, I think it would be much more revered by now. It's hard to be the different-looking car in a lineup. Personally, I appreciate both curves and wedges.
