    I just got my car back from Rossa Motors in Berkeley where Giuseppe did his usual fantastic job of replacing my 22,000 mile old clutch with a re-surfaced kevlar item. As always he didn't replace anything which didn't need replacing and while his labor rate is what I'd expect for a man of his talent his hours are never padded. He also demonstrates amazing care; he's the only technician I've seen who's careful with his ingress and egress (he doesn't drag his feet on the sills or kick the door panels) and I'd pretty much trust him with anything. Anyway the car feels amazing, the pedal is much smoother and lighter (although that's probably more down to adjustment than a new friction surface) and the take-up is very progressive. If anyone else has done similar please post up your longer-term experiences, so far I'm very pleased.

    That's great mileage from a 360 clutch, must be a 3 pedal car! (so is mine) ;)

    Thats great to hear Chas! :):)

    Why dont you put a stocko clutch back in it if you are getting great mileage out of it? :):)

    Its probably not worth the extra $$$$ if you are getting 50K miles out of the original clutch. Its obvious you and the previous owners 'know' how to drive the car. ;);)

    The kevlar clutch was significantly less expensive than OEM. Also, I had a great conversation with the factory Ferrari mechanic (great guy by the way);

    me "can you put a kevlar clutch in my 360 please?"

    mechanic "we can only put OEM clutches in, unless you are tracking the car and/or want your clutch to feel better and last longer we don't recommend kevlar"

    me "thanks, i just made my mind up"

    :)

    Depending upon where you live for convenience and time.

    Send the flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc.

    They will resurface the flywheel and PP, rebuild the PP with stronger springs, resurface the disc with kevlar, and the whole thing is about $700.00!

    Definitely get a new Hill T/O bearing and replace the transmission support bushing while you are at it.

    I am just changing clutch on my Lambo. I went for special ceramic clutch made by local specialized company here. It cost 1/4 of oem clutch and should be also better. Will let you know how it feels, should be on car within 10 days. Below picture how it looks like finished (this one is for bmw) , mine is just being produced.

    they did just few weeks ago clutch for Gallardo and they can do also for Ferrari.......

    I see a lot of your like recon clutches but are they suitable for a F1 360?

    I was told the friction plate must be dead on true???

    I am thinking about getting a recon clutch but told that because mine is F1 best to get a new one from Valeo.
