Since my new toy is in a garage at the moment waiting for the slow red tape of the swedish Transportstyrelsen and for a spring I hope will come soon I´m trying to do things
possible to do in a small garage (exept just sitting in it making vroom noices)

I tought the key was really sad looking for such a nice car so I decided to try fixing it
Read this tip somewhere in the forum so I gave it a try.

Started with media blast. 20my plastic pellets then all sorts of rubber wheels and points
lastly polishing paste. Think it turned out rather good.

This line is classic! I love it!!!! Hope you get it on the road soon.

(exept just sitting in it making vroom noices)

I like what you did to your key. Mine is just like yours. Going to have to break out the media blast cabinet. Looks great!

Woa, you Swedes must really use your cars. My key only comes out of a vacuume sealed "food preserver" type bag the ten times a year that I start 'er up. Than back in the nitrogen controled environment.

My keys look brand new, BTW, but I switch off the two keys to even wear.

Nice job on the key.... helps to pass the time until the weather gets nice.

Always good to do stuff for the car that brings much pleasure.

    Enjoy!!!!
