One of the 3 LaFerrari's I had the privilege to perform the Pre-Delivery Inspection service while still working for Ferrari of New England. I was fortunate to be the only Ferrari Technician From Ferrari of New England certified and licensed by TUV at the Ferrari Factory to work on the most advanced and, the best Super Car ever built, with Its 789-hp V-12 supplemented by a 161-hp boost from an electric motor. I don't see anybody in my rear view mirror.

Ferrari gives you the proper training but does not certify you on the high voltage KERS system. The German company TUV does all the testing and certification on the High voltage system.

TUV is roughly the German equivalent to our DOT.
