    Hi folks,

Taking my 360 to Laguna soon, and was curious how I might fair with the day's 92db limit. Car has an aftermarket muffler (Fuchs), and doesn't seem terribly loud. Inside souls levels seemed to max out around 89 with the window up, and 90.5 with the window down, though I realize that that's little to do with the situation I'll face - perhaps it would help compare against someone that's taken some other measurements. Will I likely be ok? Need to lift at the sound tower? Or work a 90 degree tailpipe solution before I go?

    Thanks!

Sorry to bump up this thread, but I am planning to run my 430 on a 90db or 92db day at laguna. Is that possible? My car is completely stock

Should be fine....although you can get a decibel app for a smart phone and see where you are at fairly easily.

You will have to let up on the accelerator pedal and upshift going up the hill between turn 5 and turn 6. That is where the sound booth is, on your right as you go up the hill.
The car will pass the sound test at the sound booth if it hasn't opened the exhaust valves under hard acceleration.
They infrequently roam the course with a mobile sound monitor, and beating that is much harder.

IMHO, they have pretty much ruined Laguna Seca with the ever tightening noise rules.
