Amazing.. Kris Singh of Tequesta Investments purchased the Veneno for just over $4m, making it history's highest priced, retail, new car sale ever! What a purchase!!

At that price I would not be happy with the different shades of green on the wheels/calipers and the stripes on the bodywork ....
I don't even like that when it's not my car at all :)

The owner of the Lamborghini of Long Island bought one. I can't wait to see it in the showroom!

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the car, aesthetically. Especially not for $4.1 million. But I guess he gets the bragging rights and attention!

Holy hell that thing is disgusting.. it will end up being Lamborghinis
"F-50"... the few who buy them wont be able to sell them to anyone.
They will pay too much and nobody wants them.

an F50 just traded for 1.8million (roughly i believe). more then double the price of entry, usually when a car doubles in value there isnt much trouble selling them.....And lets all remember looks are completely subjective.

Perhaps a different analogy would have been better. The F50 has become much-sought after as the last manual gearbox Ferrari Supercar, and is an iconic member of the Ferrari Supercar series. They generally sell fairly quickly for well over twice what they listed at when new.

The F50 is a work of art. This is an Aventador with a fancy body kit.

That's what some said about one of my coins that I bought for 650k back a few years ago.

Recently sold for 3.4 mil. Almost enough to buy one of these for cash. Not a bad little pick up.

I can assure you Kris and others won't lose a dime on these cars.

I wanted to add. If I was worth north of 100m, sure why not.

You only live once and you can't take ANYTHING with you when you leave.

So what's a few bucks thrown at a multi million dollar car, house, boat or coin for that matter.

It's all relative to ones income.

If you can live it up in good health for as long as you can, just do so and ENJOY!

Love to get hold of an owners manual for this car. Kris, any chance of seeing some pictures of the books with the car?

Here is a video of the one at Car Week this past August in Monterey, CA. This one will be on display at the Lamborghini factory.

Looks like it could be batman's next ride, hideously ugly and I am glad that I'm not alone.
Still congratulations to new owner, must be a special place to sit and enjoy life.

I like it. If I had $100M net worth and was offered one I would buy it. Just because the styling is polarizing does not mean the demand doesn't vastly exceed the supply (3 total) @ $4M a piece. The buyers will not lose money on these.

Why not actually drive it on the street too? Like was mentioned before you can't take it with you. Drive the thing and enjoy it.
