Lancia Restoration

A friend of mine is about to undertake the restorations of a 1954 Series IV Lancia Aurelia and a 1960 Series III Appia Berlina. Any leads re: mechanical/cosmetic resources in the Manassas, Virginia area would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Details and pictures would be most welcome! I used to own a couple of Series II Appia Berlinas, I have lots of bits and pieces from one of them that I parted out, and a small box of NOS parts. You know about Mike Kristick? I'm afraid I don't know anyone in your area, but once you get into the "loop" you should be able to find all kinds of help. I have Lancia club literature going back to the early 1970's.

 

Thanks Jeff. No, I don't know Mike Kristick. Where is he located? Again, I'm making inquiries on behalf of a friend who has decided to bring back a pair of these Italian jewels.

 

My in-laws have a shop in Alexandria VA (20-30 minutes away). They can do everything but show quality paint. I have a Lancia (have owned 5 at once) and they've worked on others. A buddy has a Appia stored at his place in Maryland not too far away.
