What are you using it for?

I bought a fairly cheap one and basically threw it away. If you are going to go that route (laser) for anything other than picture hanging, buy the best one otherwise it's an expensive doorstop.

    Funny...

I just used mine, a Black and Decker that I bought at Home Depot a few years back. While using it a chuckeled to myself at how darn useful it has been to me.

It was $60-80.00 if I remember. Has its own tripod stand that collapses down and folds up to form its own storage case. I love this freakin thing. I use it all the time... Hanging mirrors, art, chair rail, wainscoating, cabinets, etc, etc!!!!

Mine self levels, make sure you get one like that!
