So I'm guessing that is the M from the Fl auction?

Doesn't appear to. Looks like regular 512M rear to me....am I missing something?

Congrats, and may I say, that is an AMAZING color on that car.

    It's a M, not a TR or 512TR. That's the right taillights

    Love it!

What is the market for those now? Curious because there is a yellow one on Ebay right now for almost 160K! 512TR/ 512M have always been my favorite F-car! Congrats!

A car of that same color sold at the auction in FL (see the Advanced Credit Card Auction thread) for $125,000 if I recall correctly.

My previous guess in the post above that this was that car...

Is that Rossa Barchetta? That may be the best color I've ever seen on a TR of any variety, much less a 512M.

I believe that there were only about 100 512Ms ever produced. It's the most rare and desirable version of the TR.

Total produced for the world was 501, but only 75 were imported into the US.

Well, there you go... I wasn't even close to the total production number, but it's still the most rare of the production TRs, I think. 75 for the US is pretty rare.

For all of the interested parties the color of that car is "Rosso Metallizato" it is not rosso rubino nor rosso barchetta. Interestingly it is the only F512M to come to the United States painted in that external color.
That's the history lesson for today, you are all now excused.:)

OK, I exaggerated, maybe 25% of Texas M's then.
