the R8 didnt really make sense until I got it on the track. Dont get me wrong, its a great car but it was just a little bland on the street. On the track? Wow. its light, the turn in is very crisp, the brakes had me resetting my braking points later and later. Its a little down on grunt, but once you learn its ways you can drive it pretty fast, pretty easily. The sound at WFO is great. Very stable, very predictable, very... Audi? The family linage is apparent. Understated power and poise in a package that may look a little bland to some... but shines when the going gets fast.
More pics are always welcome here. We're due up for production in November and have to spec colors before then. With only seeing one car in person it's a bit difficult.
