loaner 400i

Well all is well. one of my cars was out on loan for 30 days and was returned with everything in tack. Started every day! did i get lucky? Or is the car generally bulletproof

 

Was it being rented or just borrowed? If it was just borrowed, feel free to ship it out to me for a month.

 

If it is sorted and maintained, it should be reliable and pretty bulletproof. The technology is not that complex although the electrical system might have some gremlins. The built in rev limiter helps prevent nasty noises from over-revving with the 5 speed.

Having said all that, loaning out one of these cars for 30 days is quite a generous and perhaps risky move unless you really, really, I mean really trust the recipient.

Why did you do that?

 

The results of this experiment. university teacher(female) had never been so popular. Lots of young 16 yr olds and geezers.The 400i proved a very reliable car. and luck was with me.

 

bundas, your posts are always very cryptic. I have no idea what you're talking about half the time! haha....

That being said, I'm from Louisville....I sometimes fly into Lexington. Any time I can come into town and borrow your 400i, please let me know.

 

welcome to lex. anytime. call and i'll buy coffee or what ever. I think my luck has been pushed on free loaners. That program is at this time STOPPED! The 400i lose a radio antenna, broken, vandalized.
