    Going to lower my f430 to tighten up the gap. Are the Novitec lowering springs the best route? What are the draw backs to lowering the car? Are there any pros besides it looks better? The car will have nf3s installed at the same time any rubbing issues?

    If you use the Novitec lowering springs and then the NF3 wheels some cars need to have the fenders rolled to make clearence and not rub. However, it seems to be a case by case basis.

    Is there a better spring then the Novitec and one that will not require rolling the fenders?

    Why you want to buy lowering springs? Your existing factory springs are adjustable, save your money. Its coil over system, very simple job. I lower mine 360 by myself. Just use search button and you will find plenty of answers and explanations how to do it.

    Masar is correct. Just lower the stock spring perches. No need to change the springs unless you also want to increase the spring rates (stronger springs).

    Also, the F430s come with the fenders rolled as they come stock with 19" wheels/tires. You can easily verify by taking a look. Only the fronts were an issue on the non-CS 360s as the CSs also came with rolled fender lips and 19" wheels/tires.

    I've lowered my 430 about 1-1/8" and it looks a ton better - hated the fender gap as well.

    as long as you get the correct offset, you wouldn't have any rubbing issues

    I used Novitec springs when I did mine, I like the result. I have had no rubbing issues. Here is a few photo of the setup.

    +1 my dealer lowered my car approx 1.5 inches. Looked great and better yet all stock and could be raised back to stock height. cost about $400 USD which included alignment

    how much stiffer are the novitec springs? are they progressive or linear?

    Here is the reply from Novitec.

    the springs are progressive and a bit stiffer than the factory onces. best value to lower the car with the springs is around 30mm
