Hello, I’m trying to shorten the wheel gap on the 458 a little bit nothing too aggressive. Probably about 0.5 to 0.75 but the driver side strut on my 458 seems to be seized and looking for a replacement.

I added some picture of my new wheels in my driveway to show how I would like the car to sit with the drop.

Any recommendations on a company who can send me a rebuilt in exchange for my core? Thanks in advance!

You might be able to cut the lock/and adjustment nut off the threaded shock body if you/your shop is very careful and take their time. That said, I am not sure you will be able to go much lower with stock coil overs. I have mine very low on the threading and it doesn't look any different than yours is now.

Thanks for info. These pics are in my drive way at inclince so it shows the lower position I would like to be at. These are the pictures that I have on me that show the real current height.

Are you trying to move the collar or a shop?

I would remove the shock and use a spring compressor and then rotate top collar up and see if that releases the bottom collar.

Just get the novitecs. I protested in the beginning but I’m glad I did. They make the car so comfortable.
