Yes it is the Kubang. I forgot to post the name. I also had to chop out the girl standing next to the car to make it fit the size requirments.

    So they cancelled production?

first thing they need to do is take the "bang" out of it's name.
This news is over a year old and have not heard much since. I would like to see it happen as I do not like the cayanne and BMW stopped making the 4.6is

Italian car manufacturer Maserati is negotiating a deal with Audi to build the company's forthcoming SUV, the Kubang.
If the deal goes through the Maserati Kubang will also use some Audi technology as well as Audi's aluminium spaceframe chassis.

Other Audi gizmos which will feature in the Italian 4x4 are its quattro all-wheel-drive system, height-adjustable air suspension and transmissions.

Maserati will source its own V8 engine for the Kubang.

Audi is currently developing the production version of its Pikes Peak

Yes they did, and replaced it with the 4.8is.

As for the Kubang, that doesnt sound Italian. Using Audi/VW to help build it wouldnt be a bad idea, Audi/VW has the ***** together in that department.

Kubang received it's name from the "winds" theme that Maserati uses like Bora and Khamsin, but I agree that it is a dumb name.

As far as I can tell, the Kubang, has done exactly that.
It' s done. Still think that an SUV type is in the future for Maserati though.

When I first saw the name, I thought it was the handle of some guy on another forum. Didnt realize it was actually the name of the car, until I looked more closely. But, another name would be more appealing.
