I don't think I have ever seen a Matra Murena here in the States, so I looked up some old pictures for reference. The Buyers Guide in "Classic Cars" magazine of November 1999 has a good picture of the front seats, which appear to have diagonal black stripes on a white background. According to the article, the seat material was not available even then, 12 years ago. The picture shows that the same material was used on the door panels, and on an insert in the dashboard - is that correct?

    correct...
But different materials were used from 1980 to 1983.
Mine is a MURENA 1600cc in Yellow mimosa color..... Only 22 where made in this color, and mine is probably one of the last.
The cloth was called 'pied de poule'.

Do you know some manufacturer able to help me?

Yes, that's what came to mind as well...........late 70's 928's (and some other Porsches) offered a similar "hounds tooth" pattern in their seats.

    Best of luck,
    Brian
