Does anyone have any drives planned for May?
I'm always up for hooking up with other F-car owners.

    Thanks!

    Vince.

Being that I have not been able to hook up with my fellow F-chatters I thought I would try to set up a lunch/drive where we could all meet. Being that we are doing Italian cars we should probably do Italian food as well.
How does mid-May look for some of you guys.

You being in Des Plaines works for me and is good for one of our vets, (Darolls who lives in AH.) Im sure you can think of many Italian stops up and down NW Hwy. If not ask our food critic Frank.

Are most of the other guys on the NW side like me and RocketBoy? I assume everyone is scattered about the chicagoland area.
I guess the next thing to do is throw out some dates and see if guys bite?
Another option would be to catch an F-1 race and breakfast somwhere on a Sunday morning? Just throwing that out becasue I am an F-1 like some of you.

    May14,15,21,22 any of these work?

I live in the Western 'Burbs, easily obtainable by every Roadway,Expressway and Tollway. Lots of Italian Restaraunts in this Area, then easy to get on any Roadway to anywhere. Also, have a great Place for a Sunday Brunch to greet, meet and eat....then hit the street....:)

BTW....Chuck,when do you plan on doing that I&M Canal Drive to Starved Rock? THAT is one great Drive!

Well I'm in for meet, greet and eat. It does not matter if it's breakfast or lunch. I'll leave that up to you guys. If we can get a handful of guys together that would be great. I threw out a few dates in my previous email to see what works for you guys. Let me know what you guys think.

    Thanks.

On May 21, the Chicago Alfa Romeo Owners' Club is having their spring drive, and you guys and gals are all invited. It will be following the route we took back in October (there's a thread on here somewhere about it), but instead of stopping at Starved Rock State Park we will continue down to Peoria for lunch. More details to come, but save the date! I think everyone who drove this route last fall had a blast.
