I know that only 50 MC12's are being produced (25 street and 25 race) but does anyone know of anybody who owns an MC12??? And even better, any pics??? I am greatly intrigued with these cars due to the exclusivity of them. Any successful replies would be greatly appreciated.

There are 50 being produced. To my knowledge only 5 will be used for racing.

Danny Devito owns one. Don't know if that means it is here in the states or over seas.

Does this mean we're going to see the first truly high speed "TAXI" service?

I visited Ferrari of Ontarioin Toronto today, and low and behold they have an MC12 up in the showroom. It is tagged and numbered, and ready to race. If you are ever in town, you may want to check it out

There has been one in the UK for a while now, owned by a guy called Frank Mountain. He did a feature on a TV program called Top Gear in which he took it out on an icy road, and ended up smashing it up a bit.

The guy also owns the UK Enzo that is on WreckedExotics.com

Hope this proves to be interesting.

It has my vote. Love the front end and treatment along the sides but the rear is wanting for better style. There is better blending from roof to rear fender on the MC12

They could have built the Enzo with this body and it would have sold just as quickly.

I looked at it again at the auto show a few weeks ago. I like the outside, but the "techno fabric" interior has to go.

Now, if they made it with a black leather interior...

Still, it ain't street legal in the USA and I want to return there someday.

I like the exterior better than the Enzo. I like the rear end better too.

Yeah the interior isnt that nice . A bit bland compared to the Enzo.

You can always stop in Europe for a few years :) A lot of nice roads where you can enjoy the Mc12 ! :)

Spicey and I have talked about getting a place in Paris or CH.

Add it to the list of things besides cars that we want to talk to you about during the GP weekend...
