whewh! YOu had me a little concerned that you were the new owner of that delightful British car-ette. You know, in certain parts of this country, you can no longer refer to people as midgets, the thought control police come out.

Ahhhh..... 950cc of thundering power. I use to have a Midget Mk 1 about 35 years ago, white with red interior. 35 mpg around town, but gas was 20 cents a gallon, fill her up and you got change back from a $2 bill.

and that would be the version to have - I had the misfortune of doing a lot of work on a friend's rubber-bumpered '78 midget; strangled by emissions and a piece of junk single Stromberg w/ the thermal-spring style choke.

A guy from college had one on my floor in the dorm as a freshman. Man are they small. I wouldn't feel safe in it. I'd take my chances on the black harley you posted.

LMAO...!!! i think that's what i'm most attracted to about the Midget - it's size... i just don't feel comfortable driving big, bulky vehicles... A tight, little car seems so much more fun...

Looks better then the factory built them. Sweet.

Midget was lots of fun when I was younger, more limber & skinny.

Broke down on a monthly basis. Parts guys knew me by voice on the phone from that car.

The first car I ever drove with a standard transmission was a '74 MG Midget! It was kinda tough with size 13 hiking shoes...

LOL Same here. We had a 77 Midget in the family for about 10 years my Dad taught me how to drive a standard on it. Amazingly I fit in the car relatively comfortably I'm 6'3 240, I remember taking it to school and coming out at the end of the day and there were a couple of girls looking at it and talking about how 'cute it was' of course I asked them if they wanted to go for a ride and they did, after that I took the car to school as often as possible!
