as stated in the description on that site, "When new, the engine was sent to Michelotto and its power tuned up. " it doesnt sound one-off, it just sounds rare

Correct. But what I was asking is does anyone know if anyone else sent their cars to Michelotto for identical or similar upgrades?

This is the first car I have heard of like this, but I am by no means, an expert!

    I'm sure Marcel Knows! Marcel......

Not a true Michelotto car if the entire car was not fitted there. They will do engine mods but there would be entirely different suspension pieces, exhausts, seats, rear window, different wing, different wheels etc if it came directly from the Michelotto plant.

Sounds like a really fun car to have but it is "ONLY", if you can say that, a modified F40 with Michelotto engine mods..........

By looking at the 94003 VIN # that has to be a really late '92 car or maybe after the prodution run was complete. My car is Jan. 92 and the VIN is low 92700's.

Thats for an F40lm gte (i think), the car in question is a tuned road F40, that was modified by michelotto.
    Hope that clears it up
