Out all the times I have seen the car at autoshows, pictures, dealerships, ect... I must say that thing looks mighty fine on the road. So good, infact, that I had to turn around in my car just to see it agian. Sorry for the bad quality but its a cell phone camera and it was REALLY sunny out this morning.

Seems like this car doesn't get alot of love? I find it sexy and exciting.

How is it doing for MB?

I like it, the long hood, roof line, the rear. I love it, except for it being automatic

I love the new SLK, but I hope it doesn't look too similar to the SLR.

i was able to spend a lot of time with one on a dealer floor. i totally don't get the styling. it way doesn't do it for me. there's some fundamental proportion disconnect with that long nose. and lots of the "little bits" are just over the top, imo. it feels to me like it was designed by committee to some extent (i have no clue how it was actually designed).

like the Ford GT, i think the SLR looks much better in pictures than in person.

    to each their own though.

    doody.

I think the SLR looks ood.

That is until it is moving. It looks STUNNING on the move, turning, etc. And then the noises the engine makes.....

one of guys the next street over from me has one and he drives it to work and back several times a week...its a nice lookiing car, a more muscular version of a sl and slk,,,but it doesnt not look like a super car and when he parks in the shopping center, it does not turn many heads...not compared to any ferrari or lambo..i have heard his car at many speeds going by, at idle, reving and cruising...it sounds nice, but to doesnt sound as good as a ferrari with a tubi or a lambo diablo or murci, or even a gallardo....
