I have a few pics from my day at the GP. I also have some short vids that I need to get hosted, then I'll post them up too.

I have loads of these photo's (with more to come from the customers I took with me) but won't post them all unless asked to

Looks like you've copied the links from another thread or some other shortened format. Try copying them from the address bar of a web browser when you're viewing them.

Yep I think the title, "a bit of action" would be more appropriate for that last pic ;)

    That her?

I managed to catch a little racing, between checking out the stunning quality of women aboard the 15 or so yachts not 50 feet from me. (not quite close enough to touch).

Next year I'm getting my ass a yacht.

Simon, just missing the "beyotch" of the end of your sentence :)

I can imagine that he told her that he did, regardless. :)

Looks great Simon. How did you get such good tickets? I must go to the Monaco GP one year soon.

I booked the tickets through an event company (http://www.break-the-ice.co.uk/).

They should have been £1700 per person, but I got them at a cancellation price of just £899 (bare in mind my g/stand ticket had a cover price of 360 Euros).

That price included chamagne reception at Harrods business Aviation centre (with free VIP parking) private plane (with champagne and breakfast served on board) Transfer from Nice to Monaco, race ticket, return transfer to Nice airport and return flight home (again, with a decent meal and champagne gratis).

I spoke with the woman yesterday, as she called to check we had a good time, and she has offered me a book-early price for next year of £1000.

This time however I can dictate where my seats are and she has offered me the grandstand adjacent to the pits (reputedly the best there is).

Not sure if we're going to do this as a corporate event again next year (we like to try and do different stuff every time) however, I am considering organising a trip privately.

If anyone is interested drop me a PM and I'll get them some further details.

When you put it like that it doesn't sound that bad. A friend and I were recently looking at going over next year, we reckoned on about £1500 a person for a semi-useful ticket, flights and a couple of nights slumming it in Monaco.

I assume they fly you out and back on the day?

Yes, we flew from stanstead. It was a long day (the champagne reception started at 4.00 am, with a flight departure time of 5.25 and an arrival time back in the UK of 11.00 pm) but a stay at the Raddison on the saturday and sunday nights make in bareable.

I'm going to get some details from her tomorrow and will post them up.

I'm happy to arrange something with her on our behalf if people are interested in an FChat outing.
