Had the need to check for our tow hook recently on our 'new to us" 88 3.2 cab and realized that the black buckeled kit that lives in front of the spare is filled with stuff just related to the jack. So was there a toolkit and if so what does it look like and contain? Doesn't concern me too much but if we ever go to a concours this might matter. The previous owner didn't mention it but then he was the third owner.

I don't have a good picture of it but this is what I have for my 87. I've never actually used it. While I use the jack to work on the car, this hasn't been rolled out since my purchase. I've had no roadside breakdowns and when home I use my real tool kit.

We've only owned the car since Christmas. So this was her first trip to the detailer--he found it buried under the spare---still thanks to all

Am I correct in thinking that the Mondial T had no jack kit because of the flat fix bottle provided?

My Swiss market 3.2 Cab had this safety triangle, its pretty a pretty elaborate multi piece item that folds up into the grey plastic case. I am pretty sure this was provided as part of the overall tool kit, at least in Switzerland, although it might have been a dealer add on at the time. For years I thought its was just a bumper pad type of thing to help prevent the spare tire and tool bag from rattling around, while cleaning out and detailing the trunk area and tools, I noticed it had a removable cap and found this thing inside wondering what the heck is this? Put it together and thought, that's a nicely made item, clever! Anyone else have one of these?

Battery handle for carrying. The ends go over the terminals then you have a handle.
