I know they are Swiss, but at least they have Italian bodywork, so I will post this here. Hopefully, there are some Monteverdi historians out there. Does anybody have access to production records, or is anybody keeping a "register" of the cars? I am told the museum has records but will not release numbers of cars built. I wonder how many are in the US? I know Jay Leno and Bob Lutz are owners, anybody else out there.

olinde: Thank you for the suggestion, but I have thoroughly searched Google. Unless you personally know the location on the web of the production records, I have not found them or anything related to them. Please let me know if you have access to the records.

    My apology.
He recommends joining the Monteverdi Facebook page and/or contacting Maurice Mentes at MemoryLane Automotive as I he is a small brand specialist.

FWIW. Brummen Gallery in the Netherlands has a rare Monteverdi for sale

    Interesting Cars DWR46.

Like Alfa Romeo and other exotic Cars, the 1973-1974 fuel crisis changed Monteverdi's direction.

Nigel: This is exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you. However, I notice the production numbers for the 375L (2+2) are missing, except for the one prototype. Would you be kind enough to recheck your data and maybe you can post them. Thanks again.

Monteverde and Frua split in a major disagreement in 1969.

Frua had built two 2+2 Coupes and one became the single 375 L (LWB) prototype - Wheelbase 2660 mm / Overall Length 4800 mm (375 S 2510 mm / 4560 mm).

Frua in 1971 converted the other 2+2 as one-off and sold it to AC Cars and it became an unique AC 429.

Like so many of the Monteverdi models, production figures were not released and totals are unknown or speculative.
